1. Requirements for Papers and Language of the Conference
a. Requirements for Conference Papers:
·In order to reflect the scholarly level of Yi studies researchers
and guarantee the international quality of the papers, we will
apply strict standards to the papers submitted, and if papers
do not meet the conference standards, official invitations will
not be issued.
·Times for submitting abstracts and papers:
English and Chinese abstracts and conference registration forms
should be returned to the preparatory committee before April 15.
Complete papers, written according to the standard
format, should be submitted by May 31 at the latest.

Format
·Publication of papers: After the completion of the conference,
the organizers will select a set of papers and English-language
summaries to be published by the Sichuan Nationalities Press as
the Collected Papers of the Fourth International Yi Studies Conference.
b. Conference Language:
The official language of the Conference is Chinese, and simultaneous
interpretation will not offered, but certain panels may request
interpreters for English or Japanese. Languages of communication
before the conference are Chinese and English.
2. Sending the notifications and official invitations
to the Conference
The first notification, including the registration form and the
paper abstract form will be sent by March 10 , and should be returned
by April 15. Complete papers may be submitted as late as May 31.
·In order to facilitate compilation and printing of the conference
handbook, participants should submit papers written according
to the conference format (appended), and should be submitted both
as a Word document and as a printed copy on A4 or 8-1/2 x 11 paper.
·Scholars who receive the conference invitation may also register
on line and download the conference paper format requirements

evaluate the papers according to quality and compose an official
